Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions will apply to all bookings, regardless of how they were made (through your website, email, telephone, travel agent systems or booking engines). Please take the time to read them before making a reservation. Please pay attention to the payment and cancellation policy before booking, as well as all the terms and conditions in this document. In these terms and conditions, the following words in bold will mean:


"Agreement" means the confirmation of the reservation together with these terms and conditions;


"Guest" means the person to be / or who is already accommodated in the hotel;


"Unity" means Amel Rooms


"Terms and Conditions" means the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.


By signing the accommodation form and / or the consent given online by making one / more reservations, the guest confirms that he has been informed about the policy of application of the terms and conditions.


RESERVATION PROCEDURES

Accommodation rates will be based on availability from the date of offer.

Guests will receive a written confirmation of the booking once the booking has been approved.


TAXES, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

The accommodation rates offered by Amel Rooms include VAT (5%) and city tax (1%). The list of tariffs / prices for additional services are available on request and are displayed in the reception of the unit.

The payment method depends on the choice of the type of reservation, and the respective payment terms may vary depending on the reservation.


The guest has the possibility to pay the fee for the entire stay before and / or on arrival at the unit, as well as for the other costs or requirements required of the unit in cash or by bank card, or by pre-authorizing a bank card. If the deposit has already been paid to guarantee the reservation, the guest will pay the difference up to the total amount paid upon arrival at the unit. The current costs will be paid only in the local currency of the unit (lei / RON) or in euros, in accordance with the booking process. Alternative bidding currencies are indicative only and will be based on the unit's internal exchange rate, and are subject to bank fluctuations.


If the credit card offered by the guest for guarantee does not have enough funds to cover the reservation, then the reservation will be considered invalid and will be canceled. The same cancellation situation applies if the guest has a credit card with an invalid expiration date or which expires before the day of arrival at the unit.


By making the reservation, the guest agrees to withdraw the cancellation amount from the credit card used for the guarantee, as mentioned above.


Payment for accommodation and extra services can be made by electronic money transfer (in the bank account mentioned on the proforma invoice) or by credit card.


If the guest does not pay or cannot present a travel voucher at the requested time, the unit can treat the reservation as if it was canceled without further notice.


CANCELLATIONS AND NON-PRESENTATIONS

Cancellations on any reservation must be made in writing. The guest is responsible for paying to the unit the cancellation fee, the amount that is described by the unit at the time of booking.


All rooms that have been confirmed as booked will be kept for the first night of the scheduled arrival date, starting with day 2 the unit can rent them without further notice, in case no information has been made on late arrival.


CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS

Changes following any reservations must be made in writing. No changes will be guaranteed until received in writing by the unit. The rates resulting from the changes may vary, depending on the nature of the change, as well as the availability at the time of the change brought to the reservations.


PUBLIC PARKING AND AREAS OUTSIDE THE UNIT

Amel Rooms has its own parking lot, video surveillance, but is not responsible for theft or destruction of vehicles parked in the parking lot of the unit. The unit cannot be held responsible for damage done to third parties by the guest in the parking area. The guest has the obligation to behave in such a way as to prevent damage to health, property, nature and the environment.


Amel Rooms is not responsible for damages caused by the guest outside the premises of the unit.


CHECK IN (ACCOMMODATION) AND CHECK OUT POLICIES

Check In: ​​From 11:00 to 14:00

Check Out: From 07:00 to 11:00


The unit is entitled to accommodate a guest or receive a visitor only if they comply with these terms and conditions: upon arrival at the reception, the guest will present a document proving the identity (identity card, passport, driver's license) of the employee of the present unit at the reception.


The guest will complete and hand over to the receptionist the accommodation form duly completed and signed, in accordance with the laws of Romania.


Given that there is also the possibility of self check in at Amel Rooms (where the guest is not physically greeted by the staff of the unit), the guest have the same obligation to present a document proving his identity (identity card, passport, permit management), this time via the Internet (email, SMS, other messaging applications) before arrival at the unit, as well as the completed accommodation form, which will be sent by the unit to the guest before his arrival.


In case of non-completion, the reservation will be treated as "no-show".


Requests for earlier or later cancellations may be honored only on the day of check-in and check-out, respectively, depending on the availability of the day and will be subject to additional fees.


Amel Rooms can store guests' luggage for a short period of time, before or after accommodation.


In case you need an earlier accommodation than the standard one of the unit, please contact us. The unit recommends booking the night before accommodation for situations where you want to guarantee accommodation earlier than standard time.


Exceeding the check-out time (11:00) without prior notice of the reception, can lead to extra taxes, including but not limited to the late check-out fee or even the accommodation fee for an additional night.


CHILD ACCEPTANCE POLICY

Guests are obliged to take care of the children they will be staying with and will not leave them unattended in the room or in the public spaces of the unit.


DAMAGE, DESTRUCTION OR OWNERSHIP OF UNIT GOODS

The guest will be directly responsible for any damage to the room or public spaces in the unit on any furniture, electronic equipment, sanitary ware, flooring, finishing or any accessory by the act produced by himself, his guests, subcontractors or guests.


If these damages / destruction are observed after the guest's departure (without having informed the unit in advance), the unit reserves the right to recover the value of the damage by charging the guest's credit card, offered as a guarantee.


The unit reserves the right to collect the value of any object appropriated by the guest of the unit. The fee will cover all costs of replacing the missing item.


The unit reserves the right to act on any guest attempting to block and damage any equipment used to detect and / or extinguish smoke or fire (detectors in rooms and public spaces, fire extinguishers and / or hydrants).


Guests who cause such damage will be charged at any cost to the unit as a result of their action, and may be instructed to leave the unit.


In case these damages are observed after the guest's forfeiture, the amount of money on the credit card provided for the guarantee will be withdrawn.

LOST / FORGOTTEN OBJECTS

If the staff of the unit finds a personal item lost or forgotten by the guest, the unit will keep that item for a maximum of 3 (three) months from the date of departure of the guest, after which the unit will treat that item at its discretion.


Behavior

Amel Rooms reserves the right to judge the level of attitude, behavior and accepted noise of the guest or his guests, who must take all necessary measures to correct the actions as requested by the staff of the unit.

In the event that no amicable settlement is reached, the unit can complete a reservation and can request the immediate departure of the guest without being obliged to return the money paid for accommodation or to pay any compensation.


The unit may not house persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs or any narcotic and psychotropic substances. The unit reserves the right to cancel the reservation immediately without making any compensation or refund to the guest or to the guest.


The unit reserves the right not to accommodate guests with an aggressive, verbally or physically insulting attitude at the time of accommodation (check in), during their stay or on the day of departure (check out). The unit is entitled to cancel the reservation immediately and to make the expulsion from the room and its own premises without offering any compensation, in case these rules will be violated.


NO DISCRIMINATION

It is part of the unit's policy not to discriminate against people based on race, color, nationality, sex, marital or social status, age, ethnicity, disability, or guest pets, and as a responsible host, we know we have a duty. to protect both our guests and their guests and our staff from inappropriate behavior. The guest, his guests, the guests and the subcontractors with whom he gets in touch or (who) represent them have the obligation to adhere to this policy, and the manager of the unit can decide if the people who did not respect this policy can stay in the unit or not.


ROOM OCCUPATION POLICY

Guests who change their already confirmed reservations are asked to notify the unit prior to their scheduled arrival, as stated in the cancellation policy below, to avoid total penalties for services already booked and confirmed.

The number of guests who will be accommodated in any room will be strictly limited, according to the reservation. Limitations were established for the health, safety, comfort of guests, as well as for the design and operational reasons of the unit.


Also for any reservation that exceeds the number of 3 nights, Amel Rooms has the obligation to offer guests clean towels every 2 days and to replace the used linen with a clean one, once every 3 days.


The guest agrees that if the number of occupants of one or more rooms is higher than the one in the confirmed reservation, the unit will not be held responsible and will not accept more people in the conditions of that reservation.


In order to prevent any misunderstandings at the accommodation (check in), please book carefully and send us the real information on the reservation, in which the accommodation data, the tariff and the number of guests will be clearly noted. We will always try to meet the changes, needs and requests of our guests, but we will not be responsible for requests that we cannot honor following a wrong booking.


If the guest cannot be accommodated due to a dispute regarding the confirmed reservation and inconsistent with the number of people arriving at the accommodation, the reservation will be treated as "no show" and the value of the paid services will not be refunded.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

The cancellation is FREE and the amount paid will be refunded in full if the reservation is canceled or modified up to 24 hours before the arrival date. No commission will be charged. If canceled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.


Please let the property know your expected arrival time in advance, by contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. If you have not notified the unit about the delay and you do not show up for check-in until 18:00, the reservation is automatically canceled and will be charged 100% the first night.


PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Amel Rooms cannot accommodate people with disabilities, due to the lack of an elevator.


PETS

Pets are allowed in the unit.


SMOKER POLICY AND FIRE LIGHTED

Smoking means the use / lighting of any type of cigarette: traditional, iqos, glo, electronic cigarette, vapo, leaf cigarettes, hookah and so on.


Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and in all public spaces inside the unit, including corridors, stairs, bathrooms, and the reception area as well as the entire ground floor of the unit. Smoking is allowed only outside the unit, in the specially designated area.


A special cleaning fee will be applied in case of smoking or use of any drugs or narcotic and / or psychotropic substances. If the smoking ban and the use of narcotic and / or psychotropic substances are violated anywhere inside Amel Rooms, the unit will charge a cleaning fee of 500 RON, to which will be added the number of nights in which the room could not be used due to these violations.


Ignition of any source of fire, including candles, fireworks and / or chopsticks is strictly forbidden inside the unit and will result in penalties of 500 RON.


For non-compliance with the situations described above, the unit has the right and obligation to notify the police and to immediately cancel the accommodation without returning any value to the guest.


WARRANTY POLICY

A valid credit card that will be used as a guarantee / deposit or for pre-authorization is required at the time of booking but also at the time of accommodation.

The hotel accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards.


CONTRACTUAL RESPONSE

All terms and conditions implied by legal status or common law are excluded from this document.


The unit is not responsible for the loss or damage of the personal belongings of guests or guests. The liability of the unit is limited in accordance with legal regulations, and strictly applicable to the value of this agreement.


The unit is not responsible for the damage or disappearance of the personal belongings of the guests, following their interaction with other persons besides the staff of the unit or guests / visitors of the guests, during the stay.


The unit recommends guests to ensure that, during the entire period that they are not in the room, the door to the room is closed, otherwise the unit does not assume responsibility for the disappearance of personal items. Guests are advised to take out travel insurance to cover the costs of any events such as loss of luggage, personal belongings, or money.


The guest is directly responsible for any damage caused inside the unit and especially in the room, including finishes, furniture, decorations, sanitary ware, linen, towels and / or bathrobes, equipment and electronic systems in the room. Any damage of any kind to movable and immovable objects made intentionally or through the negligence of guests, or their guests / visitors will be penalized accordingly, the guest paying the value of damaged goods, repair / replacement costs and, where appropriate, indirect damage to the unit, if he is unable to offer the room for accommodation.

MAJOR FORCE

Amel Rooms will not violate the terms and conditions of this agreement if it is unable to honor the services described above, and will have the right to cancel a reservation if it is no longer able to offer accommodation, due to one or more of the following circumstances:


1. any part of the unit is closed due to fire, alteration, damage or redecoration at the order of a public authority for any reason other than that decided by the unit;


2. in the impossibility of supplying the unit with gas, electricity or water coming from outside the unit;


3. the unit cannot honor a reservation, as a result of an industrial action of its own staff or of one of the suppliers;


4. Fire, explosion, spontaneous strikes or strikes, storms, storms, lightning, floods, clogged sewers, earthquakes or the consequences of any of them lead to the inability of the unit to provide its services.


CANCELLATIONS MADE BY UNIT

The unit may cancel any reservation immediately after a guest delays payment according to the terms and conditions at the time of booking or if a guest becomes insolvent or has an administrator appointed in his business who has become insolvent or if the guest violates any of the terms and conditions. above, and will then use its reasonable efforts to provide guests with alternative facilities to another similar accommodation unit or of a comparable standard, provided that such facilities are available.



GENERAL CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION

For security reasons, a video surveillance system is active outside the building as well as in public spaces inside. The use of records is made regularly by applying the law of personal data protection.


The staff of the unit is not authorized to make use of these records nor to make them available to third parties, except for the written request received from the police, after identification.


Amel Rooms reserves the right to deduct any amount due by the guest, and the exercise of this right is without prejudice to any other rights that the unit may have under this agreement or the law.


The agreement will be interpreted in accordance with Romanian law, and the guest agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Medias, Sibiu, Romania.


No amendment to this Agreement shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by or on behalf of either Party.
